I think I may consider doing this for a series of different apps if my website and book http://www.theevernotebook.com take off. Right now the website looks pretty ugly and basic but I am focusing on getting good content first and then I will put up the new website design. I am currently working on 3 different website designs, one for the desktop, one for mobile phones and a 3rd for tablet and netbooks.

In your book, consider entering good use cases. Evernote, the company, posts the same one over and over - that is - they pick a topic and then they say they put everything related to that topic into Evernote (ex. planning a wedding...put in photos of flowers, contacts of vendors and people partcipating in the wedding, possible venues). Sure. What makes EN much more interesting is the use of one or more tags, Notebooks, Saved Searches, adding To-Dos...working with 3rd parties that can interact with EN data....

These features make EN much more interesting but are rarely discussed. Good luck. Very simple example: I keep all of my passwords in EN, each in an encrypted note. I give it the tag "Passwords." I have several hundred tags, but I use about 10 of these daily. So those 10, including Passwords, are Saved Searches. So it takes me a second to get to all of my passwords.

Great idea, and good luck on the venture.
Only problem I see is that uses for Evernote keep multiplying like rabbits. Should keep you busy with a new updated version every year.
We'll be looking for your progress.
